A charming, hardy annual bearing hibiscus-like blooms in soft pinks set against rounded, attractive foliage.Malva trimestrisis fast-growing, long-flowering, and excellent for borders, cottage gardens, and cut-flower use. Height typically 60–120 cm.
Sowing: Direct sow outdoors when soil reaches 15–20°C, or start indoors 4–6 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds 0.5–1 cm deep and keep moist until germination.
Planting: Transplant or thin seedlings to 20–30 cm apart. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil; tolerates light shade.
Fertility Recommendation: Light to moderate feeder. Work compost into the soil prior to planting. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers, as these encourage leaf production at the expense of flowers.
