Growing schedule: Sow seeds inside from February to March using a propagator, heating mat or lidded seed tray on a sunny windowsill. Pot on into larger pots as needed until temperatures are warm enough to transfer into a polytunnel or glasshouse in May.
Sowing depth: 1cm
Germination: Pepper seeds germinate best in warm soil (21 - 30°C) and so a heated propagator is the ideal place to start them off early in the year. In colder conditions, germination may be slower or less successful. first fruit has set, feed plants every week or two with a liquid feed high in potassium such as Vinasse Tomato and Plant Food.
