This is a Vietnamese quite fiery chilli (at least according to my taste!) which is as attractive to look at as to eat.
The tidy plants grow to about 30 inches tall and are very productive even in the abysmal summer of 2023 which had very little sunshine. Like most chillis, the fruits start off green and ripen to a lucid orange colour.
The fruits also freeze really well in a ziplock bag so you can eat them all winter. I recommend starting all chillis off on a heated propagator or in a very warm room above 20degC to initiate germination. Once germinated, the plants are easy to care for.
