Red kuri squash (katakana: ウチキクリ) is a thin skinned orange colored winter squash, a cultivated variety of the species Cucurbita maxima.
Grow in large heap of raw cow or horse manure in polytunnel or greenhouse for best results, would do outside in sheltered spot safe from wind. Delicious tasting squash, lively roasted as a side dish or great for creamy soups. Nutty flavor and rich red flesh.
