This is an heirloom variety of cherry tomato which excels in the taste department. I grow it for a local restaurant and cafe and as well as adding colour, it has an unusual taste profile. It is also quite juicy and seedy. Fruits are on the large size for a cherry variety; about 2 inches across. Colour is an attractive mauve purple rather than black.
The fruits are produced in profusion and some are in a rather attractive symmetrical fashion on the trusses (rather like the trusses of vine tomatoes seen in the shops).
It grows rather tall, so one for the back of the greenhouse border.
