This charming micro dwarf tomato is hugely productive for its size, matching even some of the tall vine varieties.
The plant grows to about 18 in to 2 foot high and about a foot wide and I have grown it in a sunny porch, but it would also do well on a sunny windowsill or conservatory, provided it is watered and fertilized.
A 2 litre pot is more than adequate for its entire growing season, although it will grow a little bigger in a greenhouse border.
You may need to support the trusses with little wooden stakes or you can let them hang over the side of the pot and it also grows well in hanging baskets. I believe it would grow well outside in a pot or basket on a sunny patio or outside a front door provided it had some shelter from the wind and rain.
It is an early fruiter and the fruits are an attractive yellow/orange colour depending on ripeness. I sell these in punnets along with Black cherry and Vilma tomatoes to make a colourful display and interesting taste combination.
