Calendulas have yellow-gold or orange flowers. They are also called Pot Marigolds and should not be confused with Marigolds of the Tagetes family. The petals of Calendula are edible and a colourful addition to tasty salads. Calendulas are also an excellent companion plant in the vegetable plot and have many medicinal uses.
