Toadflax

Toadflax (Linaria spp.)

Toadflax is a charming perennial or biennial plant available in various colors, including white, purple, mauve, and pink. The flowers resemble snapdragons and are attractive to pollinators like bees and butterflies. Toadflax typically grows in clusters and thrives in a variety of garden settings, from borders to wildflower gardens.

Indoors: Sow seeds in late winter to early spring.
Outdoors: Sow directly in spring after the last frost or in late summer for fall blooming.
Location: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Thrives in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil. Toadflax tolerates poor soil conditions.
Watering: Water moderately; allow soil to dry slightly between waterings.
Growth:Flowers bloom from late spring to early autumn, depending on the sowing time. The plants can spread and self-seed.

Toadflax is a resilient and attractive option for adding color to your garden, and its low maintenance requirements make it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.
