Velvet queen sunflower

An attractive sunflower with copper red petals. Branches out with smaller heads making it good for cut flowers and for using in borders. Grows about 1.5m tall.

ow sunflower seeds from February to March under cover for early flowers. Sow direct outside from mid-April to mid-May. Flowers will bloom between July and October.

Sunflowers need rich moist soil and a sunny place in the garden.

Sunflowers may need staking as they grow taller.
