Celery "Cut and come again"

Cut and Come Again Celery (Apium graveolens)

Cut and Come Again Celery is a versatile and resilient variety of celery known for its tender stalks and vibrant green color. This type of celery allows for multiple harvests throughout the growing season; you can cut the outer stalks while leaving the inner ones to continue growing. It’s a great addition to salads, soups, and stir-fries.

Sowing Indoors: Start seeds 10-12 weeks before the last frost in seed trays or pots. Lightly cover seeds with soil as they require light to germinate.
Location: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil:Thrives in rich, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0. Incorporate compost to improve soil fertility.
Watering: Keep soil consistently moist, as celery has high water needs. Water regularly, especially during dry spells.
Growth: Celery typically takes 90-120 days to mature. Harvest the outer stalks when they reach about 8-10 inches tall, allowing inner stalks to continue growing.
Care: Fertilize every few weeks with a balanced fertilizer. Mulch to retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.

Cut and Come Again Celery is an excellent choice for home gardeners, providing fresh, flavorful stalks throughout the season while being easy to care for and maintain.
