Radish

Radish (Raphanus sativus), i have to yet find variety :)

Radishes are quick-growing root vegetables known for their crisp texture and peppery flavor. Available in various colors and shapes, they are often used in salads, garnishes, and cooking. Radishes are cool-season crops, making them ideal for spring and fall planting.

Sowing Outdoors: Sow seeds directly in the garden as soon as the soil can be worked in early spring or late summer for a fall crop. Space seeds 1-2 inches apart in rows about 12 inches apart.

Location:Prefers full sun but can tolerate partial shade.

Soil:Thrives in well-drained, loose soil rich in organic matter, with a pH of 6.0 to 7.0.

Watering: Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry periods.

Growth: Radishes mature quickly, typically within 20-30 days, depending on the variety. Thin seedlings to about 2-3 inches apart once they are a few inches tall.

Care: Avoid over-fertilizing, which can lead to poor root development. Harvest when roots are about the size of a marble for the best flavor.

Radishes are easy to grow and make a great addition to any vegetable garden, providing quick harvests and fresh flavors.
